    • Our journey in the River of God begins in ankle-deep water (Ezekieal 47:3), with a foundational study of the Bible, "Life in the Word."
    • We'll continue into water up to your knees (Ezekiel 47:4) with a study to deepen your "Life of Prayer."
    • Level 3 finds us in waist-deep water (Ezekiel 47:4b), studying a "Life of Worship."
    • As we move downstream into water deep enough to swim in (Ezekiel 47:5), our study delves into "Life in the Spirit."

Further and Deeper – Life of Worship (Waist-Deep)

“Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was waist-deep.” Ezekiel 47:4b

The third level of depth is a life of worship. Many people associate worship with singing. Worship can be expressed through song, but worship is a heart attitude that is to permeate every aspect of life. Jesus spoke of worship by saying, “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24) Everyone worships something or someone. We know what we worship by what occupies our thoughts the most. In other words, we can worship God through any activity of life if it is done with gratitude unto Him with an awareness of His loving presence. Thus, we can worship God through serving others, working, resting, playing, or singing.
